I have several clients looking to buy homes near downtown San Carlos, and I’ve been somewhat surprised what a hot sellers’ market it is for starter homes in this area. The Peninsula, from Mountain View and Los Altos, all the way up to Burlingame are experiencing low inventory and a LOT of buyers. I’m seeing most homes sell for over the asking price with multiple offers. If you’re in the market to sell a 2 or 3 bedroom home on the Peninsula, please give me a call today.

As is typical this time of year, the 90-day moving average of inventory is on the decline as activity slows between Thanksgiving and the end of January. Days-on-market is rising, as is also typical during this time of year. Overall, it continues to be a strong buyer's market with some signs of rising activity.
